WOMAN – The beautiful creation of God! The angel on earth makes our life a wonderful experience altogether. Imagining life without a woman is quite difficult, be it a mother, a sister, a spouse, a teacher, a daughter and many other such roles which every woman performs with love and care for people around them working selflessly. They shake the cradle with one hand and the whole earth with the other hand. The fact that all the great people in the world are born from the womb of a woman and it is a woman from whom those great people have taken their initial teachings. And that is the reason they deserve all the respect and love from us. And that is why women’s day is celebrated with so much enthusiasm and it has spread throughout the world. It is believed widely that God could not be present everywhere, so to fill this heavenly difference in everyone’s life, he made WOMAN!
Woman’s day is celebrated all around the world on 8th of March and is celebrated with even more zeal every year for the past 3 years in our Institute. Many Professors and Students spoke their heart out on the importance of these angels in our lives and the roles that they play each day and the influences that they make in our lives. Our Honourable director Mrs. Smita Shukla Spoke something that was indeed an eye-opener for everyone that the percentage of female students passing academically is observed to be higher than that of male students but then if we compare the same while we are at our workplace, it’s observed that the whole scenario takes a drastic change just because women choose family over their career which is indeed a respectable and a difficult decision practically and had they not sacrificed their jobs, they could have achieved better things in life for sure. Our honourable MMS co-ordinator Mrs. Aruna Deshpande also shared her views and also gave out these message to all women that they should take their own decisions in their lives regarding education, career, and other such crucial decisions and also emphasized on the fact that Education alone doesn’t qualify a person as a rational human being, it’s the nature of the emotional quotient of the person that makes them so ,and this behavioral trait is naturally present in women. Our respected Placement Officer Mrs. Kavita Mishra Pandey shared her experience and urged that women be treated equally and that the roles which each woman executes balancing her work life and personal life should be appreciated and respected because unlike men who mostly only focus on their job-related work, a woman is the one who has to take care of her whole family and simultaneously performs her duties at her workplace which is indeed commendable.
Our respected professor Mr. Javed kalangade also shared his own experience pertaining to his mother that how she managed to raise the family and her children on her own and who never asked for help from any of her relatives when her husband was no more and proved everyone what women are capable of and that the hidden strength which a woman posses, is something out of this world. Likewise, other professors Mr. Rakesh Malusare, Mr. Ashish Hattangadi , Ms. Radha Iyer, Mr. Najeeb Syed, Ms. Sushmita Mukherji, Mr. Abhijeet Rawal, Ms. Megha Bansal, Ms. Kavle ma’am and few students like Shrinivas Panchal, Bhavesh Dixit, Shubham Bhosale, Sumeet Rajput, Aishwarya More and also our non-teaching staff shared their experiences and expressed their heart out for this selfless being, some did so by reciting poems to some sharing their experiences right from their birth. And the celebration was concluded by cutting a delicious cake and appreciating all the women present with roses.
Everyone knows what women are capable of but still we come across instances wherein sometimes they are not treated equal to men and are sometimes not respected for the work that they do for people selflessly, are often harassed at workplace and are not paid at par compared to their male counterpart performing similar roles and also the struggle that each woman has to undergo is often ignored. If we all take a vow and start respecting women for their sacrifices and the daily struggle that they go through selflessly and start rightfully accrediting them for the things that they deserve, there would never be inequality against women and only then, we shall truly cherish and celebrate women’s day.
